Chapter2 update and deindexing

Hey Lords and Ladies,

No doubt everyone is aware of the current controversy. I have been deindexed by Itch, the ch2 update is due to be released in about 36 hours on Itch. I don't breach their new rules, but Itch has deindexed me anyway. Until they get around to reinstating TLC, I'm not inclined to release ch2. here However, IF I go that path, I will make an arrangement for those reading this to get a copy of the new update from tomorrow.

Itch's handling of this situation has been poor. I still haven't even been notified I have been deindexed. It's disappointing they have chosen to disrespect their developers this way.

I am very concerned payment processors have become the new moral police of the internet. While the content they are banning isn't my thing, the reality is, Collective Shout have had  a win. They will now go on to their next cause and their next and their next.  It's a dangerous precedent. Collective Shout are a local group for me, so I'm well aware of them.

I'm retired. TLC is a labor of love for me. Learning the process keeps my mind active. I will finish TLC. Sadly, I'm not sure what the future of TLC on Itch will be until the dust settles and a clearer picture emerges. I'm not rushing to any decisions. I do encourage people to talk to their local politicians about curbing payment processor powers. Contact the payment processors directly and politely, tell them of your displeasure. it took Collective Shout a 1000 phone calls, if everyone effected by this controversy contacted the payment processors then it would be a lot more than a thousand. Something to think about.
